Cinder Sensing Cooker

Sous Vide Cooking With The Ease & Convenience Of A Countertop Grill

Sophic Design partnered with Cinder to develop a countertop cooker that makes the perfect steak, pork chop, chicken breast, fish, or any other protein EVERY time.

Sous Vide Process & Challenges

Sous vide cooking is often viewed as the gold standard in cooking perfectly juicy steaks and other proteins. The process involves placing proteins in plastic bags and immersing them in a water bath that is precisely temperature controlled until the meat’s internal temperature matches the temperature of the water bath (130° F for medium rare steak, for example) and then seared on a hot skillet to finish.

However, the process is often complicated and messy requiring users to constantly monitor water temperatures and clean up meat juices and water drippings on stove tops and countertops.

An All-In-One Solution With Perfect Results

The Cinder Sensing Cooker integrates temperature sensors, large non-stick top and bottom cooking surfaces, precise digital temperature controls, an enclosed cooking chamber, and a custom phone app all in a countertop cooking system that provides unparalleled control, visibility, convenience, and results WITHOUT WATER!

Product Features

  • Removeable non-stick cooking plates

  • Rail-system rear hinge capable of rotating open and closed as well as adjusting up and down vertically to capture varying meat thicknesses

  • On-product and remote temperature control

  • Integrated grease management tray

  • Wi-Fi connectivity

How It Works

The Cinder Sensing Cooker is simple and intuitive to use unlocking great results and delicious food for even the most novice of cooks.

Just place the food on the bottom cooking plate and choose from a variety of cooking presets based on protein or vegetable type, starting temperature, and desired end result.

You can even hold your food at the desired temperature for an extended period of time if your in the middle of something.

Then close the lid and track your cooking progress via the app.

When ready to eat, turn the temperature up to “high” and sear your food locking in juices and flavor.
